Dot is a loyalty and rewards platform for merchants in the Middle East, live at thedotwallet.com. A customer is identified by phone only, never email, and their points and rewards follow them across every merchant on the network. Points run on an event ledger with signed single-use redemption tokens and fraud checks on every path. Arabic-first, with a cashier app, an Odoo POS plugin, and a Shopify integration. Founded and operated by Laith Aljunaidy.

What it is
Beyond likes. Beyond clicks. A hidden profile keyed on a phone number that surfaces everything that is already yours across the merchants you visit. A cross-merchant graph owned by the customer, not the platform.
How it is built
An event ledger is the source of truth and balances are derived from it. Redemptions use signed single-use tokens. Every points path runs through centralized fraud checks. Sign-in is passwordless, by OTP. Arabic-first and RTL from the first screen. One interface for points across a cashier app, an Odoo POS plugin, and Shopify.
Status
Live in production since May 2026. First merchant pilot running in Amman.
